I chose Simply Swagg with the hopes that my daughter would be taught the proper techniques of hip hop. I felt that was more important than just being on a stage in a sparkly costume wearing lipstick at the age of 2 and doing the same dance step over and over. I have seen my sassy girl blossom. She has learned so much in the few years she has been with Simply Swagg and her love for hip hop has grown. Watching her dance to songs I grew up listening to makes my heart full. The atmosphere is warm, and very family like. She has developed a bond not only with her teachers, but also the owner and their photographer/videographer. That's not something you see just anywhere. Needless to say that any child that comes here is very lucky. The experience at this dance school is not only great but an inspiring one.

My daughter started going to Simply Swagg Dance Studio since September of 2023. She did not have any prior dance experience in hip hop at all. Within a few months only she picked up so quick. So many compliments from my family amd friends when I post her dance videos online. Would highly recommend this dance studio!

We enrolled our son with Paul at Simply Swagg Dance Studio over 5 years ago and have loved it since day one! Paul is a great teacher and mentor to all his students; he cares about each and every one of them. Paul and his team of teachers focus not only on developing the kids’ dance skills, but also teach them musicality, excellent work ethic, confidence, determination, and respect. Our son has developed lifelong friends at Simply Swagg and the support these kids have for one another is amazing. This studio is clearly the best dance studio around and I would highly recommend it to everyone!

How does one rate this studio? I know that it has earned every star and more. This studio stands alone in creativity, fundamentals, encouragement, securing a respectful environment, and a place for children to express themselves FREE of judgement. Both of my children have improved not only in dance but overall in confidence. Paul (Kaze) Thurton & Crew are incredible.

Simply Swagg Dance Studio is a premiere urban dance studio. Paul Thurton has created an atmosphere of support, positivism and creativity for children of all ages and adults. The choreography is innovative and challenging for all levels. I highly recommend that anyone that loves dance try out this studio!!

Little did I know that I was joining a family, and a team of staff that always strive for the best for you. Growing with this studio for the past 5 years has changed my view on the hip hop game, through teaching the basics and fundamentals. True hip hop lives in this studio.

I've taught at many studios across Canada and also Internationally and in my experience Simply Swagg hands down is at rhe top of my list.. my boys also learn from Kaze and is staff.. The community feel and authentic truth to the hip hop culture and dance set them apart.. As a parent, this is very important... RESPECT!!!

Elissa Gamus says: Simply Swagg is a very professional yet welcoming dance studio. The owner, Paul "Kaze" Thurton is tremendously talented as a dancer but most importantly as a teacher and mentor. Our son and all of the other children, taking lessons in a variety of dance genres, are encouraged to be and do the best that they can. Our son and the rest thrive in an atmosphere where fun with, commitment to and respect of each other, Paul and his team and to urban dancing are the focus. We cannot wait to another one of Paul's recitals next week on May 20th. If your child is interested in urban dancing this is the only place to go in Toronto.

Both my children have been coming to Simply Swagg Dance Studio for about 2 years. And in that time I can honestly say that it has had such a positive influence in their lives. Aside from helping them express themselves through dance and music, it has taught them new values. From self confidence, determination, strength, helping others, strong sense of community and building life long friendships. The studio has truly made a difference in our family and we are proud to be a part of the movement.

Our eldest daughter has been part of the studio since she was 4 years old. She's now 7, and her growth from what her teachers, who are now her friends and mentors taught her is invaluable. Now our youngest just started last term. She's a shy one, but the growth in her self-confidence in just one term there, shows so much merit to her teachers. This is definitely a dance school where kids can feel free to express themselves with the utmost encouragement. ....And my husband loves the school because it is true to Hip Hop culture.
